I badly want (need) my Photoshop back.
On another note, Merry Christmas everybody!
On yet another note, Donnie Yen's really good looking. =D

I'm never going to touch alcohol again (not true, but for now).
Chalet was great fun. Probably the best one I had so far. We had a unit just infront of the pool (which is another first!) Then they bought beef steaks to bbq as well. We started the fire early, around 5pm or so. Sylvester and Pearlin were having their own chalet outing with other friends just beside our unit.
We spent the night (and morning) playing intense games of UNO and Taboo. There was lots of chatting and gossiping going on as well.
Anyway the fun came early in the morning around 5am. Alvin and the guys (except for Weiliang and Yiming) went bowling for about 1 or 2 hours then returned to the chalet. The girls and some of the guys went upstairs after that while we opened the alcohol Donald brought. We sat around in a circle like some kind of stupid tribe and broke open potato chips and bottles of Sprite and root beer to go with the Chivas and Absolut Vodka.
So we all got tipsy and crazy after constant "ta-ing". Most of us were first timers so those fast shots really killed us. Adelin overshot her limit and completely went bonkers. She sat on Randy and Alvin, jumped on Randy and proceeded to pervade the upper storey with vomit - all the time smiling and laughing happily while gathering bruises like I hunt down treasure chests in Chrono Trigger.
And while Adelin was jumping on Randy, YG was involved in an inpromptu muay thai match with the high Alvin. They ended up kicking each other and suffering severe swollen feet a few hours later. For the record, YG didn't even touch the alcohol.

Randy mentioned the movie Big Fish to me and I found the story similar to that of one of my favorite songs How I Go by Yellowcard. Turns out Yellowcard did get inspiration from Big Fish for that song. Anyhow, after knowing the storyline for Big Fish I'm appreciating this song even more. =D
I could tell you the wildest of tales
My friend the giant and traveling sales
Tell you all the times that I failed
The years all behind me the stories excelled.
And I'm drying out
Crying out
This isn't how I go
I could tell you of a man not so tall
Who said life's a circus and so we are small
Tell you of a girl that I saw
I froze in the moment and she changed it all
And I'm drying out
Crying out
This isn't how I go
Hurry now
Lay me down
And let these waters flow
Flow...
Son I am not everything you thought that I would be
But every story I have told is part of me
And you keep the air in my lungs
Floating along as a melody comes
And my heart beats like timpani drums
Keeping the time while a symphony strums
And I'm drying out
Crying out
This isn't how I go
Hurry now
Lay me down
And let these waters flow...
Flow...
Let it flow
Let it flow
Son I am not everything you thought that I would be
But every story I have told is part of me
Son I leave you now but you have so much more to do
And every story I have told is part of you

9 days now! Since I was busy playing Chrono Trigger on the ds, I've neglected to blog about it. But here it is anyway - 9 days later. There's no picture included but my lovely cousin Lynette gave me a black bag as a present while my other equally adorable cousin Sharman specially called me (just after her plane landed in Singapore) to wish me Happy Birthday. I love you both!

I don't know how many SP students read this (not including those who already know about this event) - but for my entrepreneurship module assignment 1 we have to set up a shop. Details as follows in poster below.

I'm suddenly addicted to this song all over again.
"I'm here for you," she said
and we can stay for awhile,
my boyfriend's gone
we can just pretend.
Lips that need no introduction
Now who's the greater sin
Your drab eyes seem to invite
(tell me darling) Where do we begin.
Was this over before...
before it ever began?
Your kiss, your calls, your crutch
Like the devil's got your hand
This was over before
Before it ever began
Your lips, your lies, your lust
Like the devil's in your hands
Everyone in this town
is seeing somebody else
Everybody's tired of someone
our eyes wander for help
Prayers that need no answer now
I'm tired of who I am
You were my greatest mistake
I fell in love with your sin
Your littlest sin
Was this over before...
before it ever began?
Your kiss, your calls, your crutch
Like the devil's got your hand
This was over before
Before it ever began
Your lips, your lies, your lust
Like the devil's in your hands
Failure is your disease
You want my outline drawn
You were my greatest failure
Discourse your saving song
Was this over before...
before it ever began?
Your kiss, your calls, your crutch
Like the devil's got your hand
This was over before
Before it ever began
Your lips, your lies, your lust
Like the devil's in your hands
Was this over before...
before it ever began?
Your kiss, your calls, your crutch
Like the devil's got your hand
This was over before
Before it ever began
Your lips, your lies, your lust
Like the devil's in your hands

I need someone to tell my brother to study seriously and come home earlier before my mother starts guilt-tripping me with words like "killing her" and "getting all the blame from your father" again and again. And my father will only stop shouting if he thinks our argument is right. He wants us to shout back. Talking peacefully seems to be for losers because he "only shouts when I'm angry and I see things not done correctly after I've said it so many times. You say I'm aggressive?! No I'm not aggressive, this is my style of talking!". I'm not interested in a shouting match.
Nobody listens to me at all.

One word: Redo.

FYP's going okay so far; it's going to be the end of Week 3 but we still maintain a bit of optimism. Currently the first game is about done 'cept for some changes in code after we talked to Bala this afternoon. Then I've got to add in the instructions and the bad ending pages to complete game 1 - which I'll probably do tomorrow together with some cut scene animations and the start page.
Its been a bitch to lug around that A5-sized graphic tablet of mine with my laptop charger, sketchbook and other miscellaneous stuff on a one shoulder bag (and my laptop in hand) these past weeks. At least they serve their purpose.
Lots of things for tomorrow then. I'm looking forward to watching Tropic Thunder sometime and attending Damian's niece's 1st month celebration on saturday.
As Tim Gunn would say, make it work!
